Brady Speaks at Shanghai, China IP Law Conference

Kevin F. Brady, a partner in the firm’s Business Law Group, participated as a panel speaker at the 2008 International Conference on Judicial Protection of IPR in Shanghai, China.
The event, hosted by the Supreme Court of the People’s Republic of China IP Tribunal and co-sponsored by Shanghai High People’s Court, the Quality Brands Protection Committee of CAEFI, EU-China IPR2 Project and the US Chamber of Commerce, was a three day event featuring representatives from the global Intellectual Property community, including professors, attorneys, judges and businesspeople from China, Japan, India, the Netherlands and the United States, among others.
Kevin spoke with the Honorable Kent A. Jordan of the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in a session titled “Evidence and Litigation Conduct.” In addition to Kevin and Judge Jordan, the United States was represented at the conference by Judge Larry J. McKinney of the United States District Court of Southern Indiana.
