Connolly Bove Expands Corporate Litigation Practice in Delaware

Wilmington, DE – Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP is pleased to welcome two new attorneys to the corporate litigation practice, expanding the firm’s Business Law Group in Delaware. David E. Ross joins as a partner and Bradley R. Aronstam joins as a senior associate.

David Ross has significant experience representing clients in commercial, corporate and trust litigation in trial and appellate courts, and in arbitrations and mediation matters throughout the United States. He was previously a partner in the Washington, DC office of Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans & Figel P.L.L.C., where he was elected to the partnership in 2000, at the age of 29.
Mr. Ross received his B.A. in political science from the Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. from Columbia University, where he received the James A. Elkins Prize in Constitutional Law, the Thomas E. Dewey Prize for best brief in honors moot court, the Lawrence S. Greenbaum Prize for best oral argument in honors moot court, and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for three years. He is admitted to the New Jersey, Maryland and District of Columbia bars and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Bradley R. Aronstam represents clients in a variety of areas including corporate and commercial litigation and corporate counseling relating to the business judgment rule and the fiduciary duties of directors and officers, interested director and controlling shareholder transactions and corporate governance. After completing his J.D. program, Mr. Aronstam served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Vice Chancellor John W. Noble on the Delaware Court of Chancery and practiced as an associate in Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP’s New York office.
Mr. Aronstam was recently appointed to serve as Vice Chair of a Task Force established by the Corporate Governance Committee of the ABA's Business Law Section to examine the traditional boundary between the role of shareholders and the role of directors and whether the changing nature and level of shareholder activity in U.S. publicly-traded corporations has implications for that boundary. Mr. Aronstam received his B.B.A. from Pace University, sum cum laude, and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law with distinction. He is admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bars.
