Our History:

Founded in 1944 in Wilmington, Delaware, the Firm began as an intellectual property firm, but soon added a business law practice. In 2001, the Firm established an office in Washington D.C. to have a presence closer to the United States Patent and Trademark Office and other government entities. In 2005, the Firm extended its presence to the West Coast and opened an office in Los Angeles, California.

Our Attorneys:

Our attorneys serve as lead counsel in trial and appeals in state and federal courts throughout the country, including the District of Delaware, Central District of California, the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the International Trade Commission. The Firm is well versed in practice before the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court.

The Firm is comprised of over 100 attorneys, many with advanced technical degrees in engineering or in one of the physical or life sciences.
