C.A. No. 05-349--Successfully enforced Talecris’s patent relating to a method for treating a solution of antibodies to make an intraveneously injectible immunoglobulin drug used to treat immune deficiency diseases. After prevailing on claim construction and obtaining summary judgment of validity, we negotiated and consummated a favorable settlement for Talecris on the eve of a jury trial. Baxter agreed to take a license.
