Chad S.C. Stover

Chad S.C. Stover is a Partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group.  He represents clients in a variety of areas, including patent litigation, antitrust litigation, licensing and transactions, trademark and copyright litigation, and unfair competition and trade secret litigation, both in Delaware courts and in federal courts across the country. Chad’s experience also includes numerous Delaware counsel representations in Delaware’s federal and state courts.

Chad has completed the inaugural 2010 Federal Trial Practice Seminar, an eight-week trial practice program sponsored by the Delaware Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in conjunction with the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s office and Delaware’s federal judges.

Chad was part of a CBLH team that obtained a favorable settlement for a leading financial institution in trademark litigation against a competitor, another leading financial institution.  This litigation included claims of trademark infringement, dilution, and unfair competition regarding the client’s most valuable design trademark.

Currently, Chad assists in patent litigation involving AstraZeneca's Crestor® product, represents a German paper company in patent litigation in the International Trade Commission and in the District of South Carolina, and serves as Delaware counsel in numerous patent cases in the District of Delaware. 

On the pro bono front, Chad recently secured two settlements totaling almost $100,000 for an indigent community association.
