Arlyn L. Alonzo is Of Counsel in the firm's Intellectual Property Group where she concentrates her practice on patent infringement litigation and in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Arlyn represents clients in a variety of practice areas including patent and trademark litigation, patent and trademark prosecution, patent and trademark portfolio management, counseling and opinions, competitive analysis, due diligence preparation in connection with technology acquisitions, and patent licensing.

Arlyn has extensive experience working with clients in a wide variety of high-tech industries, including wireless communication systems, broadband networks, optoelectronics, digital storage media, medical devices (defribrillators, heart stents, cardio catheters, cooling systems, insulin pumps, etc.), and other electrical, biomedical and mechanical inventions.

Prior to joining the firm, Arlyn served as Senior Project Engineer for a major telecommunications company where she worked on various communications satellite programs, weather satellite programs and radar imaging programs as an electrical and a mechanical engineer for nearly one decade. 

Arlyn also served as Chief IP Counsel for a noted biomedical device company. As chief IP counsel she prepared and prosecuted patent and trademark applications resulting in several issued patents and registered trademarks.

Arlyn is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
